Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using the LadagX mobile application or website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use LadagX.

1About the LadagX Platform

LadagX ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is a technology intermediary operated byLadagX Technologies Pvt. Ltd., that connects passengers seeking intercity transportation with independent, registered taxi drivers ("Driver Partners") on routes spanning the Union Territory of Ladakh, the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, and the State of Himachal Pradesh — including cities such as Kargil, Leh, Zanskar, Drass, Srinagar, Jammu, and Manali.

LadagX does not own, operate, or lease any vehicles. We provide the technology platform — the mobile application and website — that facilitates bookings between passengers and Driver Partners. The actual transportation service is provided by Driver Partners who are independent contractors and not employees of LadagX.

2Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform.
  • You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One person may maintain only one LadagX account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.
  • LadagX reserves the right to refuse registration to, or suspend accounts of, any person who violates these Terms or misuses the Platform.

3Bookings & Fares

  • All ride bookings are subject to Driver Partner availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive an in-app confirmation notification.
  • Fares displayed in the app are estimates calculated based on route, vehicle type, and current fuel rates. The final fare may include applicable government taxes and levies.
  • Additional charges may apply for tolls, vehicle parking, or any extraordinary road conditions (e.g., mandatory detours) that arise during the journey.
  • Seat bookings are per-person. Booking an entire vehicle requires reserving all available seats or a "full vehicle" listing where available.
  • LadagX operates a no-surge pricing policy. Fares are fixed on a per-route, per-vehicle-type basis and do not fluctuate based on demand or time.

4Cancellations & Refunds

  • Passenger cancellation before driver departure: Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled departure time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 2 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the fare.
  • No-show: If a passenger fails to board at the confirmed pickup point without prior notice, the full fare may be charged as a no-show fee.
  • Driver cancellation: If a Driver Partner cancels a confirmed ride, passengers will receive a full refund and, where possible, an alternative Driver Partner will be assigned.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

5Weather, Road Conditions & Force Majeure (Critical for Ladakh)

This clause is especially important given the high-altitude nature of Ladakh's road network.

  • Our operating routes pass through high-altitude terrain across the Union Territory of Ladakh, the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. These areas are subject to extreme weather events including heavy snowfall, avalanches, flash floods, and landslides. Such events may cause sudden route closures, mandatory timing restrictions, or traffic blocks by BRO or the traffic police of the respective district — including passes such as Zojila (Ladakh–J&K border), Penzila (Kargil–Zanskar), Shinkula (Zanskar–Himachal Pradesh), and Banihal (J&K).
  • LadagX will make best efforts to communicate known road closures and advisories through the app's Traffic Advisory channel. However, LadagX is not liable for delays, route changes, or cancellations resulting from such uncontrollable natural or administrative events.
  • In the event of a closure directly causing trip cancellation, passengers will receive a full refund. LadagX shall not be responsible for any indirect losses including missed flights, accommodations, or other consequential expenses.

6Passenger Conduct & Responsibilities

  • Passengers must behave respectfully toward Driver Partners and co-passengers at all times.
  • Passengers must be at the confirmed pickup point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Undue delay may result in the trip departing without the passenger.
  • Passengers must not carry prohibited items including illegal substances, unregistered firearms, or any items that endanger the safety of others in the vehicle.
  • Luggage is permitted within reasonable limits. Excessive luggage may be subject to an additional agreed charge with the Driver Partner.
  • Passengers who cause damage to a vehicle may be held liable for repair costs.
  • LadagX reserves the right to permanently ban passengers found to be abusive, fraudulent, or engaging in behavior that endangers the safety of drivers or other passengers.

7Driver Partner Responsibilities

  • All Driver Partners must hold a valid commercial driving license (CDL) with an appropriate route permit issued by the UT of Ladakh or relevant state authority.
  • Driver Partners are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in a roadworthy condition, with valid fitness certificates, insurance, and pollution control certificates.
  • On pass routes where mandated by BRO or the traffic police of the respective district, Driver Partners must equip their vehicles with anti-skid chains before commencing the journey.
  • Driver Partners must adhere to all one-way traffic timings and TCP (Traffic Control Post) regulations communicated through the app's advisory system.
  • Drivers must maintain sobriety at all times when operating the vehicle. Any evidence of impaired driving will result in immediate suspension from the Platform.

8Intellectual Property

The LadagX name, logo, mobile application, website, and all associated technology and content are the exclusive intellectual property of LadagX and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, LadagX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.

10Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kargil, Union Territory of Ladakh, India — being the principal place of business of LadagX Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Before initiating any legal proceeding, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

11Amendments to These Terms

LadagX reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published in the app and on this website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
